 BEYOND A PHYSICAL ALBUM

The Slovak Dances album will serve as the centerpiece of a new media structure known as Transmedia. Across multiple media platforms, the audience will experience the composition not only through the state-of-the-art audio and video, but will be able to receive all the related information, observe every part of the process of the creation from every possible angle and point and learn the entire story of Slovak Dances with all the details and personae involved. In a completely new way, everybody can actually become a part of the story.

 A CONNECTED AUDIENCE

Despite the omnipresent digital abundance and click-distraction, we want to try to foster deeper and longer engagement, great identification, and avid participation with authentic music both online and in the real world.

THE WAY WE TELL STORIES TODAY

To a certain extent, folklore, i.e. beliefs, tales, myths, customs, sayings, dances and art forms are still shared and preserved among people. Folk songs are a part of this tradition and we want to present them not only in a very new symphonic form, but also in the context of Slovak folklore.

SlovakDances.com is also a welcoming invitation for the novices to learn about classical music, if they’re approaching it for the first time. It aims to create a global online community of inspired fans and artists appreciating but also contributing to the rich and multi-faceted tapestry of Slovak Dances.

 STRATEGY AND INFLUENCE

In a world where classical music has faded from the forefront of the culture, Slovak Dances want to tryaims:

- to add an unusual piece to the repertory and to show the audiences the benefits of discovering the talents and contributions of today's musicians

- to create a multilayered musical experience for a connected world that is in sync with current music listening and distribution patterns and preferences.
